Of the Super Bowls they’ve won, five have been since 2001. Overall, they have had an awe-inspiring recent run of success. They have appeared in six wild card games and thirteen divisional playoffs. Such success is uncommon in the NFL and in sports in general.

The Patriots’ head coach, Bill Belichick, is widely regarded as one of the most talented coaches in the history of the sport. His in-depth, out-of-the-box game planning has often led the team to victory. Players like Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, and Devin McCourty have been pivotal in the team’s success.

It was the first MLB ballpark in history.

In 2018, their regular season winning percentage was .5755, ranking them fourth in the league. They have appeared in postseason games since 2013, one of just three teams to have done so. Among the big names that have played for the Sox over time are Babe Ruth, David Ortiz, Carl Yastrzemski, and Pedro Martinez.
